North Projects welcomes its newest member of their management team, Simon Shiel. Joining as a director, Simon will be specialising in the growth and development of North’s Project Management services department whilst also working with the Director team to strengthen and support North’s extended business.
Simon is a Project and Design Management Advisor with more than 20 years’ experience incorporating Design and Property Development. Simon has a background in Architecture and Design Management and has previously worked for Grocon, Ashton Raggatt McDougall (ARM) and lectured on Architectural Design at RMIT and the University of Melbourne.
Simon has worked with North as a consultant on some major projects such as the New Royal Adelaide Hospital and Victoria New Schools PPP Project, and has collaborated with North on several high-profile submissions. Following on from the contributions he has already made to the project, Simon will also be stepping into the Independent Reviewer role for the Victoria New Schools PPP Project.
Simon is a panel member of the Victorian Design Review Panel and a Registered Architect. The team at North Projects are excited to have him on board and looking forward to a prosperous year ahead.
