David Askie joins North Projects as National Director, Head of Estimating & Quantity Surveying

We are delighted to announce the addition of National Director, David Askie as North’s Head of Estimating & Quantity Surveying who will be located in our North Sydney office.

A Cost Planner & Estimator at heart, David is a credible leader in growing businesses. He cultivates exceptional business growth by connecting disciplines and offering clients a unique solution to their project challenges.

David brings over 26 years of experience within the development and construction industry, bringing local and global experience from Australia, Europe, and the Americas, and has amassed a wealth of experience in Cost Planning, Estimating, Advisory and Governance.

I am excited to be part of the North team to share my knowledge and experience with a broad client base and promote the great work the team produces to many new clients.

David has joined the team to strengthen our integrated services offering and drive digital systems, achieving a significant pillar in North’s 5 Year Strategy. His experience in leadership and executive roles such as Lendlease’s Head of Cost Planning & Estimating (AU), Head of Development Cost Planning (EU), Head of Cost Planning (US), and Head of Integrated Solutions (US) will allow North to grow into new markets and create stronger client portfolios by offering the industry a unique value proposition to support projects end to end.

David’s contractor and developer background bolsters our capability to offer clients pragmatic advice from real-life project experience as we understand the opportunities and challenges with planning, design and development. His experience with integrated solutions provides a holistic approach to solving client problems by understanding the interrelated disciplines of cost, programme, supply chain, buildability, BIM and technology.
