Murray Kretschmer appointment as Chief Operating Officer at North Projects

With great excitement and pride, we are thrilled to welcome Murray Kretschmer to our team. This strategic appointment marks a monumental phase of the North evolution to becoming a leading construction advisor in Australia.

A transformational leader, connector, and Engineer by background with over 26 years of experience locally and internationally, Murray as North’s Chief Operating Officer will lead the operations of our business, delivering our growth strategy to provide world class outcomes with North’s clients.

As a people and outcomes focused leader, Murray brings a wealth of experience from sequential leadership positions including Australasian Chief Operating Officer, Australasian Regional Board Member, and Executive level Sector leads during his 26 years at Arup. He has delivered across the full project lifecycle covering many sectors including Road, Rail, Water, Energy, Aviation, Health, Data, and Property sectors.

Murray will work closely with the Board of Directors – Tim Hogg, Graeme Billings, Min Zhong, Jason D’Antonio, Jarrod McHugh, Samantha Smith, and Daniel Muirhead to deliver the North 5 Year Strategic Plan, elevating North to an unprecedented level of competitiveness and entering new markets by 2030.

In the past 12 years, North has experienced remarkable growth. Murray’s robust leadership and expertise will play a pivotal role in realising ambitious plans to enhance our service portfolio, broaden our sector reach, and expand our geographical presence both nationally and internationally.
